Size 3: 4 to 6 years

Choose a indoor or outdoor ball? What's the difference?

There are two types of ball to suit the different types of basketball court. The ball can be played indoors ("indoor") or outdoors ("outdoor"). These different designations, often engraved on the ball, indicate whether the ball is designed for indoor or outdoor use.

The difference between a indoor and a outdoorball is the covering, which is rubber for outdoor use and leather for indoor, offering a better ball feel .

However, leather is less resistant and grippier than rubber. However, there are also hybrid leather balls that are much more resistant, making them ideal for indoor and outdoor basketballs!

How to choose a basketball?

Now that you know ta ball size, and the court where you plan to play (indoor or outdoor). All you need to dois decide between thedifferent brands!

Ball brands vary from league to league. One of the best-known brands is undoubtedlySpalding. For many years, it was the official equipment of the NBA and WNBA leagues.

However, in 2021 ,Wilson will be equipping players in the prestigious NBA and WNBA leagues . In the same way as Spalding,Wilson markets balls for all budgets and practices.

Molten is also one of Basketball's prestigious brands. It supplies the official balls of the FIBA (Fédération Internationale de Basket-Ball).

We also offer balls from Nike, not necessarily a pioneering company in the manufacture of basketballs, but over time it has managed to establish itself and compete with the giant Spalding and Wilson.

Relying heavily on the design of their balls, Nike appeals more easily to the new generation. And with good reason! The brand has sponsored the Junior durant international tournament for several years.
